Five Reasons to Love Someone
(This post is the dedicated to someone special)
Love refers to the personal relationship and emotional attachment between family members, friends and partners. Although some people fear and avoid love because of prior experiences or losses, most of us welcome love for the joy and companionship it adds to our lives. Different people have many different reasons why they love one another, but there are some general views about love, such as emotional connection, health benefits, companionship, reproduction and spiritual guidance.
- When two people are physically attracted to each other, share similar morals and values, complement each other's strengths and weaknesses, and have common future goals, there is a true connection. This emotional alliance creates happiness and feelings of comfort.
- Loving someone provides emotional happiness and health benefits. Being in love and feeling loved by someone is proven to lower rates of heart failure and chronic disease. Quite literally, a loving, healthy relationship (both family and marriage) reduces stress by allowing for more financial security and constant companionship, which results in healthy life choices.
- There are many different types of loving relationships. Life-long relationships between parents and children, husbands and wives, and siblings involve trust, support and unconditional love. Short-term relationships, like friendships and romantic pairings, are usually built on common interests, physical attraction and emotional attachment. If two people continue to follow a similar life-path, these friendly relationships can progress into long-term relationships.
- The primary function of love is companionship; regardless of the loving relationship, there is a connection and feeling of company or togetherness. Finding a partner to spend your life with and start your own family with is the ultimate goal for most people when it comes to love.
- Spending your life with friends, family and loved ones gives you a sense of purpose; it gives you companionship and people with whom to share both happy and sad times. The power of love is impenetrable, and when it truly works, it's akin to magic.

Seems as if someone is in love... ;).... is this a life-long one or a short term course??? :)
